Peter's Birthday with the OM-D E-M1 Mark II
Figured since I have this camera, I might as well test it out beyond it's sport capabilities, and get to the nitty gritty of it's low light abilities both in terms of high ISO performance, noise control and focusing abilities in low light.
So what better opportunity than the birthday party for my friend Peter (might remember him from taking me aboard to Moku Paku a few years ago) at Prizefighter (for any of you Emeryville locals, this used to be Kitty's which I still so dearly miss for all that it was, but is nice as Prizefighter too) definitely qualifies in the low light category. These photos are all out of camera jpgs, not processed at all. All shot in aperture priority f/2.8 at ISO 4000 auto white balance single shot focus. Pretty impressed.
Though I really just wanted to take pictures of the dogs Peanut and Geo the whole time
