Joshua Tree with Old Friends
Headed down to Joshua Tree for a quick trip with the group Colin calls "the Old Friends" not in their individual ages, but in the age of their friendship.
After a long day's drive, we caught a bit of sunset, played charades around a campfire, and then woke up for a day of scrambling and climbing before I had to catch a flight back up to the bay for MLB Opening Day.
I feel so lucky to live within a days drive of such incredible places, grateful for the National Park system for protecting these places, and for Colin's friends who have welcomed me into their group, even though I'm not nearly as skilled a climber!
Also, was another great excuse to bring my MindShift Gear Rotation 180 Panorama to pack my climbing shoes, harness, water and of course snacks!
