It will be a great day of learning and shooting Olympus cameras. We will have a 2 hour class taught by Kelley L Cox, a professional sports photographer, and then we will be off site near the store photographing a youth soccer game. The class is free and is also open to anyone who is interested in learning to shoot sports and anything that moves with an Olympus camera system.

Sports gives photographers an opportunity to capture incredible moments in time but often presents challenging lighting scenarios and other elements outside of their control. Learn how to see and think like a sports photographer and feel comfortable covering any sport. Gain insight on how to cover specific sports as well as tips that can be applied to improve your overall photography skill set.
The class will be comprised of a presentation of sports photography insights and recommendations followed by a hands-on experience photographing soccer.

We will have a few demo cameras and lenses available to share.
Kelley L Cox has been photographing sports since she was a student at UC Berkeley. As a freelancer with USA Today Sports Images, Kelley has covered the Super Bowl, NBA Finals, Worlds Series, and NCAA Championships. She is the founder and managing director of KLC fotos which serves as official photographer for USA Rugby and Cal Athletics in addition to myriad other sports, corporate and personal clients. Kelley's images have been published by the New York Times, Boston Globe, Sports Illustrated, ESPN, among others. Her work was also exhibited by the Smithsonian Institute - Museum of the American Indian, "Best in the World: Native Athletes in the Olympics". Kelley enjoys sharing her experiences in professional sports to help photographers of all levels improve their photography.
