Hello! I'm Kelley - a photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I am the founding member and managing director of KLC fotos. With a mission statement "Supporting Photographers. Serving Clients." Our platforms help connect clients to photographers. Our clients include national teams, collegiate and professional sports teams, corporate and non-profit organizations with over 400 contributing photographers and counting!

I regularly photograph NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLS, NWSL and MLB along with other major sporting events in the Bay Area for imagn, Getty images and the Associated Press. I have covered multiple championship events including the World Series, the Super Bowl and the NBA Finals.

I've personally been featured by PetaPixel, DPReview, Digital Photo Magazine, Rangefinder, engadget and others. I've also been a guest on podcasts including: The Digital Story and We Shoot Sports.

My workshop topics vary from camera basics to sports photography tips, to career-focused workshops. I am happy to conduct workshops for photography groups, camera reps, creative teams, and one-on-one trainings.
With two decades in the industry, I offer consulting services for organizations looking to elevate and optimize their photography, entreprenuers looking for insight on tools built for photographers, and photographers looking for portfolio reviews and coaching on how to find success in the industry. I sit on the advisory committee of Laney College's Photography Department and have served as a strategic partner to GalleryID since it's launch.

I am honored to have had my work featured in national exhibits such as the Smithsonian Institute - National Museum of the American Indian exhibit "Best in the World: Native Athletes in the Olympics" and local exhibits such as Lehrhaus Judaica's Building Jewish Bridges "This is Bay Area Jewry" celebrating the diversity of interfaith families.

Cameras are so capable today and there are many entry level options for cameras, lenses, lighting that can get the job done. I recommend any gear that is reliable and you know how to use for optimal results.
I was previously a member of the Olympus ambassador program as an Olympus Visionary and used Olympus gear for most of my sports action photography from 2017-2024. Since 2025, most of my professional sports coverage is with canon (because I need to be able to FTP directly from the camera). I still believe micro-four-thirds is the best sensor format for most photography enthusiasts, and I still enjoy using OM-System because I prioritize size, weight, weather-sealing, computational features, and keeping photography fun!
I use ThinkTankPhoto rolling bags, cases, and backpacks to store and transport my gear.
